Nothing."</p>\n<p>THE DRESS WAS FOUND NEXT TO THIS BLISS BRIDAL DRESS BAG.</p>\n<p>SO GANNON CALLED THE MASON CITY SHOP.</p>\n<p>Denise Gannon/Found Wedding Dress: "They don't sell that brand, so they don't think they sold. They didn't sell the dress."</p>\n<p>Natsot</p>\n<p>HOW THE DRESS ENDED UP IN A DITCH IS A MYSTERY.</p>\n<p>GANNON SAYS EVERYBODY HAS A THEORY.</p>\n<p>Denise Gannon/Found Wedding Dress: "I just don't know if somebody was hauling or moving and it blew out of their vehicle."</p>\n<p>SOME PEOPLE THINK THE BRIDE CHANGED HER MIND.</p>\n<p>Denise Gannon/Found Wedding Dress: "I think the dress has already been worn, so I don't think she changed her mind."</p>\n<p>OTHERS BELIEVE IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE GREENFIELD TORNADO.</p>\n<p>BUT GANNON SAYS THOSE DATES DON'T ADD UP.</p>\n<p>Denise Gannon/Found Wedding Dress: "It had not been there. HOPE RIPPEY / SHANDA SHARER MURDER (1993)
HOPE RIPPEY, ONE OF FOUR TEEN AGED GIRLS ACCUSED OF TORTURING AND BURNING TO DEATH 12-YEAR OLD SHANDA SHARER, MAKES A COURT APPEARANCE.
TEEN TORTURE SLAYING
16 YEAR OLD HOPE RIPPEY PLEADED GUILTY TODAY TO HER ROLE IN THE JANUARY 1992 TORTURE SLAYING OF A 12 YEAR OLD SOUTHERN INDIANA GIRL. RIPPEY PLEADED GUILTY TO CHARGES OF MURDER, FELONY MURDER, ARSON AND CRIMINAL CONFINEMENT IN THE MURDER CASE OF 12 YEAR OLD SHANDA RENEE SHARER. RIPPEY WORE AN ORANGE JAIL SUIT AND WHITE SNEAKER AND WAS SHACKLED AROUND THE WAIST AND WRISTS AND ANKLES AT TODAY'S HEARING. SPEAKING QUIETLY TO JUDGE JEANNE JOURDAN, SHE ADMITTED HER ROLE IN THE DEATH OF THE 12 YEAR OLD. SHE ADMITTED THAT SHE HELPED LURE SHANDA FROM HER FATHER'S HOME AND THE TAKE PART IN THE SYSTEMATIC TORTURE OF THE GIRL. SHE ALSO ADMITTED THAT SHE POURED GASOLINE OVER SHANDA AND THEN SET HER AFIRE. RIPPEY IS THE FOURTH TEENAGER TO PLEAD GUILTY IN THE CASE. 17 YEAR OL MELINDA LOVELESS AND 18 YEAR OLD MARY LAURINE TACKET ALSO HAVE PLEADED GUILTY TO CHARGES IN SHANDA'S DEATH. EACH OF THEM HAS BEEN SENTENCED TO 60 YEARS IN PRISON. 16 YEAR OLD TONI LAWRENCE HAS PLEADED GUILTY TO CHARGES OF CRIMINAL CONFINEMENT AND SHE HAD BEEN SENTENCED TO 20 YEARS IN PRISON. RIPPEY WILL BE SENTENCED ON JUNE 1ST. SHE FACES UP TO 60 YEARS IN PRISON AND 30 THOUSAND DOLLARS IN FINES.
